Concrete Rainwater Tanks

Concrete rainwater tanks offer a much better alternative to polyethylene plastic rainwater tanks:

  • The water stays cooler
  • No algae develops
  • The water has no after-taste
  • They are bullet-proof, vandal-proof and fire-proof
  • Being underground means they are out of sight and don’t take up much of your valuable real estate
  • Above ground tanks can be spray painted to fit in better with your surroundings
  • Concrete is stronger and more durable
  • Below ground tanks can be made trafficable with the use of heavy duty covers

They are ideal for all domestic, industrial and rural applications.

Ri-Industries supply engineer-designed reinforced concrete water tanks for above or below ground applications.  They are made under strict supervision in our modern factory in South Australia from high frequency vibrated reinforced 50 MPa concrete using the highest quality of materials.  Steel mesh is used inside the water tanks and lids and all fittings are made from brass – to give additional peace of mind. Coupled with our 10-15 year warranty, you can be sure that a rain water tank from Ri-Industries will last the distance.

All above ground tanks are supplied with an attractive concrete conical or flat roof and the underground tanks have a flat concrete roof.  As all tanks are manufactured here in our factory, inlets and outlets can be custom made and inserted at any required position on the tanks – to suit your exact requirements.

We have a wide variety of sizes available, ranging from 5,000 litres (1,000 gallons) to 22,730 litres (5,000 gallons).

“As clients of Ri-Industries over the past few years, we would like to thank you for your continuing contribution to our industry.  We have always found your tanks to be of consistently high quality.  The competitive pricing of your underground concrete rainwater tanks in particular have recently allowed us to include them in a number of interstate winery projects.”
