*Height and weight depend on lid thickness
Please note with underground tanks, the lid thickness is dependent on each individual order. A minimum of 100mm should be added for a standard lid. A different class of trafficable lid is available depending on what sort of vehicle will be driving over the lid:
Class B – light duty lid (cars and light trucks)
Class D – heavy duty lid (semis, tractors and forklifts)
For above ground tanks the inlets are in the roof and 150mm must be added on to the wall height dimensions to ascertain the inlet height.
All above ground tanks are constructed with 50 MPa concrete with steel mesh and plastic fibre reinforcing.
Please Note : Ri-industries advises that all underground tanks are to be filled at least 50%-75% with water to all chambers to stop floatation.
