Septic Installation Support

Most plumbers, drainlayers and installers in South Australia are familiar with the Ri-Industries septic tanks and their installation.  Contact us for a list of installers in your area.  Alternatively, we will arrange this upon purchase.

Regulations covering installation and design of your septic system are set down by the Health Department.  Your Local Council Health Inspector will give you information relevant to your area.

Please also speak to our sales team who are extremely knowledgeable about septic installation. For example, horizontal septic tanks should not be placed in a trafficable area.  If a trafficable septic tank is required please speak to us about our vertical septic tanks.  We also recommend that all septic tanks are placed on an even bed of fine gravel or clean fill and back-filled with the same.

Please note : Ri-Industries advises that all underground tanks are to be filled at least 50% - 70% with water in all chambers to stop flotation, depending on site conditions
